Garrus - Château d'Esclans 

Garrus is widely regarded as one of the world's most exclusive and prestigious Rosé wines and is considered by many critics to be the benchmark for luxury Rosé.

Crafted exclusively from Free Run Juice, Garrus is made from the purest and finest juice naturally released by the grapes. Unlike conventional winemaking, the grapes are never mechanically pressed. Instead, the juice flows gently under the natural weight of the grapes themselves. This exceptionally delicate process extracts significantly fewer tannins and bitter compounds from the skins and seeds, resulting in remarkable finesse, purity and an incredibly silky texture.

The grapes originate from Grenache and Rolle vines that are more than 90 years old, producing naturally tiny yields and exceptional concentration.

Another defining characteristic is its pioneering barrel fermentation. Château d'Esclans developed an innovative cooling technology that allows precise temperature-controlled fermentation in 600-litre French oak barrels. This groundbreaking method minimizes oxidation while preserving freshness, precision and vibrant fruit, creating the remarkable complexity, creamy texture and elegant toasted notes that have become the signature of Garrus.

The wine is then aged for 10 months on its fine lees in French oak barrels and refined through regular Burgundian-style bâtonnage, producing extraordinary depth, texture and elegance. The result is a Rosé that combines the sophistication of a great white Burgundy with the freshness and refinement of the finest wines of Provence.

Its delicate pale salmon colour reveals an exceptionally layered bouquet of ripe peach, candied citrus, passion fruit, glazed pear and subtle floral aromas, beautifully complemented by notes of brioche, toasted hazelnuts, vanilla and refined minerality. On the palate, Garrus is rich yet impeccably balanced, combining vibrant freshness with a silky, creamy texture and extraordinary length. Its elegant toasted nuances evoke the complexity of a great vintage Champagne—without the bubbles.
