The truly unique family winery Château d'Or et de Gueules from the southern Rhône area has a big environmental commitment to protect nature for future generations. It reflects their choice to practice environmentally friendly farming. Respect of the environment is rooted into the genes at the Domaine. No plastic, self sufficient due to an own production of solar energy and no artificial additions to the wine making. The owner and winemaker Mathieu Chatain is a real character!
The fermentation for this characterful Rosé happens in French oak barrels with an aging in concrete tanks. The result is a dynamic Rosé where you can't really taste the wood due to its elegant integration. However this Rosé has enough body from the flavorful Syrah grapes to accompany Steaks and BBQ and adds some fresh flavors to each meal. Not your typical Rosé but one of our favorites!
