Château Peyrassol - Les Commandeurs Rosé BIO
Situated in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Verdon Gorge in the Provence, the "Commanderie de Peyrassol" was founded in the 13th Century by the Order of the Knights Templar. It comprises nearly 850 hectares of oak trees, olive trees, and scrubland, which protect the age-old and renowned Château Peyrassol vineyard at the centre of the estate.
Peyrassol has established itself as one of the leading wine estates in the Côtes de Provence with Rosés that are authentically Provençal, recognised for their great elegance.
With a long experience in the production of Provence Rosés, Peyrassol has a constant focus on quality. Les Commandeurs Rosé is pale pink and delicate. Notes of small wild berries mingle on the nose with a hint of juniper. This spicy touch supports a palate built on liveliness reminiscent of exotic citrus fruit. The whole is harmonious, clean and refreshing.
This wine is a perfect match for sunny, gourmet dishes. It will enhance an octopus salad marinated in lemon and herbs, a grilled duck breast with fresh figs or a white pizza topped with burrata, Arugula and lemon zest.
