Château Peyrassol Rosé BIO
The famous Provence "Commanderie de Peyrassol" was founded in the 13th Century by the Order of the Knights Templar. Situated in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Verdon Gorge, it comprises nearly 850 hectares of oak trees, olive trees, and scrubland, which protect the age-old and renowned Château Peyrassol vineyard at the centre of the estate.
Peyrassol has established itself as one of the leading wine estates in the Côtes de Provence with Rosés that are authentically Provençal, recognised for their great elegance.
This "Château Rosé" is the heart of the estate's range. Made from selected parcels of mainly old vines. Highly representative of the estate's style in its commitment to excellence, this wine ist characterised by its complexity and balance.
Very pale litchee pink color. The nose is fine and elegant. Complex, it releases long aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus fruit and white flowers. The palate is straightforward and clean: fine and silky, it is at once tender, delicate and lively. The soft freshness of the finish underpins the quality and a hint of salinity harmonises the whole. A very fine, elegant texture that carries through to a precise, refined finish.
This Rosé has a fine, lively palate and will enhance delicate dishes such as seared scallops or grilled fillet of bass.
