Código 1530 Rosa - Rosé Tequila
Ultra-Premium Tequila aged in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels
Código 1530 Rosa Tequila is anything but ordinary. As one of the first Tequilas with a natural Rosé color, it combines the freshness and natural sweetness of Blue Weber agave with the elegance and fruit character of French oak barrels previously used to age Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. The result is an exceptional ultra-premium Tequila with a delicate Rosé hue, complex aromas and remarkable freshness.
Código 1530 is crafted in the historic town of Amatitán in Jalisco, Mexico, in the heart of Tequila country. Every drop is made exclusively from 100% Blue Weber agave, with no additives, added sugar or chemicals. Behind Código lies a production tradition perfected over generations, driven by an uncompromising commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
The distinctive and natural pale Rosé color of Código Rosa Tequila comes from one month of aging in uncharred French white oak barrels that previously held Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. During this time, the Tequila develops delicate fruit notes and additional depth while retaining the characteristic freshness of the agave.
On the palate, Código Rosa is elegant, fresh and beautifully balanced. The natural sweetness and vibrant character of Blue Weber agave meet juicy fruit notes and subtle nuances from the Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. The result is a smooth, layered Tequila with an exceptional balance of fresh agave, gentle sweetness and elegant fruit.
🌵 An extraordinary story: Código 1530 is rooted in a centuries-old Tequila tradition from Amatitán that was preserved for generations by five local families and was originally never intended for commercial sale. The name “Código” – Spanish for “code” – refers to the traditional code of honor and time-honored rules according to which the Tequila is crafted.
🥃 Our serving recommendation: Código 1530 Rosa is best enjoyed neat and lightly chilled or over a large ice cube. It is also an excellent choice for an elevated Rosa Margarita, Paloma or Tequila Spritz.
