Rosé is trend and trendsetters love Rosé! Lady Gaga sips Whispering Angel Rosé on TV with Steven Colbert. Reese Witherspoon regularly shares on Instagram her latest Rosé favorites, most recently AIX Rosé. The daughter of the former US President Obama is seen sipping on pink by the pool, a glass of the always popular Whispering Angel. Even German stars share their new preference for first-class Rosé! Claudia Schiffer has recently mentioned in an interview that her favorite is the Rosé by Léoube.
Rosé embodies joy of life and stands for modern enjoyment! Whether with friends on the weekend, in the evening on the balcony or during you’re latest Netflix & Chill night... Rosé always hits the spot!
Some celebrities even kick it up a notch by creating their own Rosé! Of course, you do not go from actor or rock singer to wine producer overnight... you need to team up for the ultimate success!
The most famous "Celeb Rosé" is Miraval. Miraval was created by Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, along with the famous Perrin family located in the Rhone area of France. In an interview, Brad Pitt emphasized his new passion as a winemaker:
"I’m a farmer now. I love learning about the land and which field is most suitable for which grape, the drama of September and October: Are we picking today? Where are the sugar levels? How is the acidity? Is it going to rain?”
Chateau Miraval has always been a magical attraction for celebrities. The property previously belonged, among others, to the French jazz pianist Jacques Loussier. He created a music studio on the Miraval property. Pink Floyd recorded tracks for their outstanding album "The Wall" in 1979 in this studio. Also other bands and singers like AC/DC, Sting and Muse used the facilities for recording.
In summary Miraval is a great Rosé, which has earned all the prices that can be collected in the wine world. Behind the Rosé is a unique winery with great soil and perfect micro-climate. Of course the famous and renowned Perrin winemaker family are giving Brad Pitt a little help. :-)
A new example of celebs joining the Pink Revolution is called "Diving into Hampton Water". This Rosé is made by the legendary Jon Bon Jovi and his son Jesse. The winegrower is Gérard Bertrand. Gérard has led the wine region "Languedoc" in the south of France into modernity with its world class wines.
It is important to emphasize that the Jovi family is not only the face but also actively involved in the "winemaking" process. Jesse flew into the south of France for the harvest for 2 weeks and together with Jon again in December for the final "Blending", the compilation of the “Cuvée” with the typical Provence grape varieties Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre.
In the words of Jon Bon Jovi: "Creating this wine with Gérard was just as creative as working with another songwriter. Gérard uses his talent and knowledge of wine like a gifted musician. And working with my son was an amazing experience."
Another star is in the beginning stages of creating her own wine and Rosé: Sarah Jessica Parker! Sarah has teamed up with a New Zealand winemaker. We’re excited to taste the result and will share with you the experience and tasting notes! One thing is certain: We strive to offer the best & unique Rosé wines from around the world!
