More and more winegrowers break boundaries to create more structured and multi-layered Rosé wines. Some Rosés are even crafted like the greatest wines from Burgundy! We’re talking fermentation and aging in oak barrels. 

The added depth from fermentation or aging in oak create a new style of Rosé that is very food-friendly and capable of standing up to dishes like dark meat! These Gourmet Rosés are very versatile. They can be enjoyed during a Summer Barbecue with grilled meat or during Festive season and as a general rule with heavier food!

Château de Berne - La Grande Cuvée Rosé

The Château de Berne Grande Cuvée Rosé Organic stands among the most remarkable Rosés of Provence. Crafted exclusively from the estate's finest vineyard parcels and the oldest Grenache vines on the Plateau de Berne, this exceptional Prestige Rosé showcases the extraordinary heights that Provence Rosé can achieve through meticulous craftsmanship and uncompromising attention to detail.

While many Rosés are vinified exclusively in stainless steel, the Grande Cuvée follows a far more ambitious approach. Following the night harvest, the wine spends two weeks on its fine lees with daily bâtonnage before maturing for six months in a carefully balanced combination of stainless steel tanks, oak barrels and acacia barrels. This meticulous ageing creates remarkable depth, silky texture and refined structure while preserving the vibrant freshness and elegance that define the finest Rosés of Provence. The result is a wine with outstanding ageing potential of three to five years — a rare quality for Rosé.

Brilliant pale salmon-pink in colour, the nose reveals expressive aromas of citrus, stone fruit, exotic fruit and delicate spices. The palate is rich yet beautifully poised, combining vineyard peach, vibrant freshness and a velvety texture with exceptional precision. A long floral finish completes this truly gastronomic Rosé.

Figuière - Confidentielle Rosé BIO

Figuière Confidentielle Rosé is the elegant premium cuvée of the Combard family and an expressive Rosé from the AOP Côtes de Provence La Londe. Close to the Mediterranean Sea, Figuière produces distinctive Rosés shaped by the maritime climate and mineral-rich schist soils of the Provence coastline.

Confidentielle is a refined expression of the unique terroir of La Londe. The vineyards, located close to the Mediterranean Sea, are shaped by schist soils and the cooling maritime influence. Together, they give the Rosé its distinctive freshness, minerality and elegant saline character.

The grapes are vinified separately and gently pressed at low pressure. 80% of the wine is vinified in stainless steel and 20% in 500-liter oak barrels – preserving freshness and precision while adding structure, complexity and depth. 

In the glass, Confidentielle shows an elegant rose-gold color with golden reflections. The nose combines yellow fruit and delicate iodine notes with lychee, peppery rose and subtle hints of vanilla and cardamom. On the palate, it is refined yet full-bodied, with a beautiful balance of mineral freshness, salinity and richness. Citrus zest accompanies the long, fruity and mineral finish.

Rock Angel - Château d'Esclans

Famous Star Rosé from Château d'Esclans. Won many prizes all over the world. The grapes harvested early in the morning were selected three times and part of the wine matured in 600-liter oak barrels. Multi-facetted bouquet with notes of yellow and red fruits, plus Mediterranean herbs and a cool mineral touch. Rich on the palate, deep, with a sophisticated structure, freshness and graceful enamel in the long finish.

La Bargemone - Les Secrets Rosé BIO

Some Rosés are simply enjoyed. Others leave a lasting impression. Les Secrets Rosé Organic is one of them.

Crafted at the historic Domaine La Bargemone near Aix-en-Provence, whose origins date back to the Knights Templar in the 13th century, this exceptional Rosé combines centuries of winemaking heritage with modern craftsmanship and a deep commitment to sustainability.

The organically farmed vineyards stretch across the Trévaresse plateau, where warm Mediterranean sunshine, cool nights and the refreshing Mistral allow the grapes to ripen slowly while preserving remarkable freshness and elegance. Surrounded by olive groves, pine forests and flourishing biodiversity, the estate produces wines that beautifully express the unique terroir of Provence.

Immediately after harvest, the grapes are gently cold-pressed before the juice spends an extended period on its fine lees to build aromatic complexity. Midway through fermentation, the wine is transferred into French oak barrels, where it matures for twelve months with regular bâtonnage. This meticulous ageing creates exceptional depth, a silky texture and remarkable complexity while maintaining the freshness and precision that define great Provence Rosé.

The nose reveals refined aromas of wildflower honey, delicate linden blossom and peach preserve. The palate is rich and beautifully structured, offering layers of ripe stone fruit balanced by vibrant acidity and an elegant, lingering finish.

Château Sainte Roseline - La Chapelle - Cru Classé Rosé BIO

Château Sainte Roseline is one of the most renowned wine estates in Provence and has the exceptional location in Les Arcs-sur-Argens, 30 minutes from Saint-Tropez and Cannes, on the French Riviera. This prestigious wine estate is one of the rare  “Cru Classé” wineries.

The grapes for this Cuvée are coming from the best plots of the estate. Around 40% of the juices are fermented in huge 18 hl wooden vats and the other 60% in stainless steel vats, in order to give this wine great complexity and depth.

This top Rosé of the winery is intense pale pink with a brilliant shine. The nose develops aromas of exotic fruits like passion fruit, pomelo and lychee. The persistent mouth has notes of yellow peaches with underlined aromas of lime. This Rosé is the pride of Château Sainte Roseline and impresses with its elegant and round acidity and a long finish.

ROSÉ FIRST FLIGHT® is made from Portugieser grapes grown on vines more than 50 years old, whose deep roots contribute concentration and character. A defining element is its vinification in stainless steel and large oak barrels. Rather than dominating the wine, the oak adds structure, depth and a distinctly gastronomic character.
