Bodegas Arzuaga - Rosae - Rosé BIO
Arzuaga Rosae – elegant Rosé from high-altitude vineyards in Ribera del Duero
Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro is one of the most renowned estates in the heart of the Ribera del Duero in northern Spain. Located on the elevated plateau of Castilla y León, the vineyards benefit from a unique combination of Mediterranean climate with strong continental influence—hot, sunny days and cool nights. This natural temperature variation allows the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving freshness while developing deep aromatic complexity.
The Rosae is produced from 100% Tempranillo grapes grown in certified organic vineyards at over 900 meters above sea level. The soils are dominated by chalky limestone and stony terrain, which naturally limit yields and enhance elegance, minerality, and structure in the wine.
Harvested early and handled with extreme care, this Rosé reflects a modern, fresh style inspired by Mediterranean Rosés while maintaining the identity of Ribera del Duero.
🍷 Tasting Notes
Arzuaga Rosae 2025 shows a pale Rosé color with delicate copper reflections. On the nose, it reveals an expressive bouquet of red berries such as strawberry and cherry, complemented by notes of pine, citrus, passion fruit and floral hints.
On the palate, it is fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced, with a smooth texture and elegant structure. Juicy fruit, refreshing acidity, and a long, clean finish make it both easy-drinking and refined.
🍽️ Food Pairing
This Rosé truly shines with Spanish cuisine:
- Jamón Ibérico & Manchego – the saltiness and richness meet the fresh acidity perfectly
- Gambas al Ajillo (garlic shrimp) – the wine cuts through the olive oil and garlic beautifully
- Paella Valenciana or seafood paella – complements saffron, rice, and delicate seafood notes
- Pulpo a la Gallega (octopus with paprika and olive oil) – minerality meets spice and texture
- Croquetas (jamón or chicken) – creamy inside, crispy outside, perfectly balanced by the wine
- Pimientos de Padrón – simple, salty, addictive and ideal with a chilled glass
- Grilled seabass or dorada with olive oil and herbs
👉 A perfect Spanish-style Rosé for tapas nights, long dinners, and sunny terraces.
