Château d’Astros is a 600 hectares Provence estate in the heart of the Var. Beautiful like out of a fairytale with preserved nature, 80 hectares of vines and 10 hectares of apple trees. Century-old gorgeous monuments, acres of farmland, forest, river and of course the beauty of the Provence.

The Absolu Rosé is the divine expression of a terroir, a wine representing the best of Astros. Starting from the selection of the vines capturing the most light and typicity of a provencal terroir, limestone and dry soils, and all the poetry and magic of the estate. The cuvée Absolu reveals and enhances the beauty of the preserved nature to offer a pure experience of harmony.

In the nose this Rosé is delicate and fine, it reveals notes of fresh fruit, opening up to exotic nuances. The palate is silky and voluptuous, followed by a fine volume and aromatic complexity combining exotic fruit and citrus. A subtle mineral flavor lingers for a fresh and enduring finish.

This Rosé is a fantastic food companion that fits perfectly to grilled veal chops or provencal chicken. It also pairs excellent with shellfish and ceviche.
