Domaines Ott Rosé - Château Romassan Bandol BIO

Power, Elegance and the Spirit of Bandol

Domaines Ott Château Romassan Bandol Rosé is widely regarded as one of the world's finest Bandol Rosés. While many Provence Rosés are celebrated for their lightness and delicacy, Château Romassan offers a richer, more structured and remarkably age-worthy expression. Its distinctive character is driven by a significant proportion of Mourvèdre, the signature grape of Bandol, which gives the wine exceptional depth, texture and complexity.

The historic Château Romassan vineyards are located in the prestigious Bandol appellation, nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the limestone hills of Provence. Abundant sunshine, cooling sea breezes and poor, rocky soils create grapes of remarkable concentration. Carefully crafted in the unmistakable Domaines Ott style, this Rosé combines freshness with power, making it one of France's benchmark gastronomic Rosés.

Tasting Notes

In the glass, Château Romassan displays a luminous pale salmon color with delicate copper reflections.

The nose reveals expressive aromas of white peach, apricot, pink grapefruit and ripe citrus fruits, layered with Mediterranean herbs, fennel, white blossom and subtle spice.

On the palate, this Premium Rosé is beautifully structured and remarkably complex. The generous Mourvèdre component contributes depth, silky texture and refined tannins while preserving freshness and elegance. Vibrant minerality, savory nuances and an exceptionally long finish make this one of the most distinctive Rosés produced in France.

Food Pairing 🍽️

Thanks to its generous Mourvèdre content, Château Romassan pairs beautifully with richer and more flavorful dishes than most Provence Rosés.
